P2C Math Teacher Leader Cadre
Strengthen Math Instruction Through Career-Connected Learning
Pathway2Careers (P2C) is seeking educators from across New Mexico to participate in the P2C Math Teacher Leader Cadre. This professional learning opportunity is designed to strengthen mathematics instruction through problem-based, applied, and career-connected practices aligned with the NMPED Math Framework.
Selected participants will engage in virtual and in-person learning, coaching, and implementation support designed to build instructional capacity and support meaningful use of P2C Math in classrooms across New Mexico.
Who Should Apply
This opportunity is a great fit for educators who:
Teach secondary math, including special education settings
Value coaching and support with curriculum planning, lesson design, and classroom implementation
Want to grow as a teacher leader through statewide collaboration
Are interested in implementing P2C Math during the 2026–2027 school year or are already using HQIM-approved P2C Math as a core or supplemental resource
Participant Expectations
Selected participants will be expected to:
Participate in four virtual sessions and two in-person sessions in Albuquerque
Engage in ongoing coaching and 8 hours of asynchronous work in a Canvas course
Explore and use P2C Math curriculum and implementation tools
Share your implementation, learning with other NM educators

Notification of acceptance or denial: No later than April 14, 2026

All virtual sessions will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 PM Mountain Time.

Stipend
Participants selected for the P2C Teacher Leader Cadre who complete all required cadre activities will receive a $625 stipend.
